Other members have helped educate or bring speakers to their branch on subjects of interest, and other members have created fun ways to recruit members to the branch. Yes, in order to get the most value from your membership, try to attend every meeting. When you cannot make the weekly meeting, sending a substitute allows your business to be represented.

Members are allowed to send a substitute twice per quarter and be absent without a substitute twice per quarter. If a member misses additional meetings, the board of their branch may terminate their membership.

No, each seat in a branch is valuable to every other member, so it is not possible to hold a seat or position which directly affects the introductions and business brought to every other member.

Each branch decides where they will meet, whether there is a meal, and if there is an additional charge for that above and beyond the annual GROW membership fee. If so, those fees are separate and are payable directly to the branch.
